Despite Silly Rules of Engagement, an Unclear Mission and Hostile American Leftists, the U.S. Military Happens to make Gains in Iraq:
American and Iraqi forces are driving Al-Qaeda in Iraq out of its last redoubt in the north of the country in the culmination of one of the most spectacular victories of the war on terror.
Here's a link to the
whole story by Marie Colvin in The Sunday Times. I especially appreciated the comment left by "Doug" from Baltimore: "For those of you pleased with the progress in Iraq, I would like you to think of the people this damages and distresses. You know, people like Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Ted Kennedy, Barack Obama, Osama Bin Laden, the American left etc."
